This is more than our first exhibit; it’s an invitation. A welcome into a space that centers Puerto Rico as home in subject, in story, and in spirit.

The works in this inaugural collection are all by contemporary Puerto Rican artists, many still living and creating on the island. Through paintings of actual homes, these artists reflect the architecture and atmosphere of Puerto Rican neighborhoods — places lived in, loved, and remembered. In depicting people...

Versus Galleries was created to be a home of its own. We are a digital gallery and store showcasing Puerto Rican artists, and a cultural hub connecting the island to the U.S. Based in New York, we aim to give visibility to artists from PR while creating meaningful experiences for those longing to reconnect with their roots, their people, or the pulse of the island.

This is the beginning. The first step in an ongoing movement.

I'm interested in purchasing a piece. What do I do?

If interested in purchasing a piece, please contact us and specify which piece you are interested in purchasing and where will the piece be shipped to. A purchasing agreement will be sent via email for the buyer to review and sign. Once returned, an invoice will be sent to buyer that requires full payment prior to piece being shipped. Versus Galleries will assume shipping costs if shipped within Continental US. Any shipping outside Continental US will command an additional shipping charge for which Versus Galleries will assume half the cost.

Can I re-sell any pieces purchased through Versus Galleries?

Any re-selling of art pieces purchased through Versus Galleries will require written consent from the Artist. Contact Us, if interested in re-selling your artwork purchased in our space. We can help obtain Artist authorization.

I would like to offer some of your Artist's work in my Gallery or art show. How can I make it happen?

Contact Us. We will help coordinate any potential shows or offerings outside Versus Galleries to best promote our artists.
